RISKWORLD 2026: What Happened at RIMS' Annual Conference

RISKWORLD, the annual conference hosted by RIMS, the risk management society, drew close to 10,000 risk  and insurance professionals to Philadelphia this past May 3-6. Now the successor to the original RIMS Annual  Conference & Exhibition, launched in 1963, RISKWORLD remains the largest annual gathering of risk  professionals in the country. 

The four-day event included more than 150 learning sessions, keynote presentations, and a marketplace with  vendors and solution providers. A highlight of the event each year is the Risk Manager of the Year award, which  in 2026 went to Jeff Bray of Prologis, with Emily Buckley of Specialized Bicycle Components inducted into the  Risk Management Honor Roll. 

For employers and risk managers who couldn't attend, RIMS publishes ongoing resources through its Risk  Knowledge library and RIMScast podcast, along with Risk Management Magazine, that cover many of the same  topics discussed at the conference.
