Anthony J. Cerminara, MD is an orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship in sports medicine. Dr. Cerminara earned his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Miami/lackson Memorial Hospital. He also has fellowship training in sports medicine at Steadman-Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado.

Dr. Cerminara has training in all aspects of general orthopaedic medicine and surgery, including his particular interest in hip arthroscopy, complex knee surgery, arthroscopic/open shoulder surgery, and total joint replacement. Dr. Cerminara’s advanced training in sports medicine helps athletes return to optimal performance.

Dr. Cerminara is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with additional sub-specialty board certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Florida Orthopedic Society, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and Florida Medical Society. Dr. Cerminara has presented nationally and submitted to several peer-reviewed medical journals.
